General Overview of the Program

Bachelor of Marketing (BM) is a four-year-undergraduate program of study. This program is specifically designed to introduce and develop the concepts of marketing and the role of marketing management in a variety of organizations consumer, industrial, financial, service, profit and not-for-profit-together with an appreciation of marketing in a strategic sense. It aims to advance their careers in marketing whilst offering scope to pursue academic work in this area if their choice to do so. It is designed for students interested in careers involving sales, promotion, services, distribution, research, and planning for business and the public sector and also provides students with key concepts and methods of analysis in marketing. It focuses on understanding customer needs, developing products or services, creating and implementing marketing plans, monitoring customer responses, and projecting marketing activities for the future.

Marketing graduates will be qualified for potential careers in a wide range of areas graduates may find employment as: Advertising Coordinator, Customer Service Manager/Representative, Marketing Assistant, Buyer, Sales Manager, Promotion Coordinator, Sales Representative (inside and outside), Store Manager, Market Research Assistant, Account Executive, International Sales Manager, Public Relations Director, Marketing Manager/Director, New Product Development Manager, Market Research Analyst, Brand or Product Manager, Senior Manager/Executive. Students who hold bachelor degree in Marketing can pursue Master degree or Ph.D degree in marketing, business administration, and other related fields.
