BACHELOR DEGREE OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
General Overview of the Program

The Civil Engineering program has a strong focus on engineering design of building, bridge, road, highway and dam based on the clean environment conservation as well as on material testing and construction technology. Civil Engineering requires a combination of technical engineering, economic, legal and managerial knowledge. The program reflects the diversity. There are lectures, homework, assignments on both an individual and team work, together with laboratory experience and site visits. In the second semester of third year, students may choose Structural Engineering or Construction Engineering Management according to their interest.

Career Opportunities

Civil Engineering Projects are increasingly being promoted and delivered to clients. Therefore BBU graduates have being well educated in both fundamental and professional knowledge to become high Qualified civil engineers for the needs of society. They are incorporated engineers are the backbone of much development of infrastructure. In addition to the traditional engineering functions such as design and construction, they also in demand the project management, finance and project administration.
