Introduction

The Master of Science in Information Technology [MSc-IT] Program of Sikkim Manipal University (SMU), Indea is designed and implemented by advanced traditional computing and evolving IT to achieve strategic goals. It has both "Logical" and "Technical" components, which include mission, functional and information requirements, system configurations, and information flows. The technical components include IT standards and rules that will be used to implement the logical architecture, its convenient term for including both computing and communication network technology that is driving what has often been called the "Information Revolution".

Eligibility

4 year graduation or equivalent.

Min duration: 2 year (4 semesters).

Max. Duration: 4 year

Tuition fee must be paid in US $ of 1,100 per annum

Admission Requirement

Provision for Lateral Entry to Second Semester of MSc-IT

Successful completion of any non computer graduation from any recognized a university and one-year Diploma Computer Course.

Successful completion of BCA, BSc(CS/IT) from any recognized university.

Note: In this lateral entry scheme, a student has to appear and pass the first semester examination. Books of the first semesters will be supplied by the university and assessment will be completed at the learning center.

Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT)

After successful completion of first two semester of Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT).
