Message from the President

Build Bright University has become the first choice for career-focused achievers and growth-oriented entrepreneurs. We provide a wide range of degree programs in Phnom Penh capital and other remote provinces throughout the country. We have extended our education services to assure the maximum accessibility available to wherever you live. We offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs that are designed to teach you both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills relevant to the needs of your chosen professions within various fields of study including art & humanities, business & social science, engineering, language & cultural studies, and information & technology. Build Bright University has gained a national reputation for its commitment to high quality of teaching and learning, its applied research and the engagement with industry, business and local community and it has much pride in its largest population of over 45,000 students, alumni, and staff and the communities it serves. In addition to providing high-quality teaching and learning environment, the university has extended a wide range of research and training activities within and outside the university's study centers. It has established an Institute of Mobilizing Knowledge for Economic Development and Peace (IMEP), which is a center for research, training and consultancy. The center has its sole objective to undertake need-based training and to carry out research on socio-economic importance. As a center for research, training and consultancy, IMEP is committed to contribute quality research, valuable consultancy and effective training programs in various areas. It is continuing to undertake training and research projects from various partners including many projects on extreme forms of child labor with International Labor Organization and other research trainings and consultancy projects with Care International organization, the U.S Embassy, and the government's ministries such as ministry of agriculture, forestry and fishery, ministry of defend, ministry of interior, ministry of industry, mines and energy and other business organizations, etc. The University has gained a national reputation for its commitment to high quality learning, teaching and training, its applied research and its engagement with industry, business and local communities and it has much pride in its staff, students, alumni, and the communities it serves. Today the University has a reputation for excellence in selected fields including Business administration and management, Languages, Information Technology, Tourism and Hospitality, Political Sciences, Law, and especially Civil Engineering in which our graduates have landed in good jobs. The University has been given full accreditation by the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia (ACC) for its foundation year program since 2006 and it is expected to be fully accredited by the year 2012.
