 Located in the town of Siem Reap
province, Siem Reap campus has performed
its academic mission under
the recognition of the Ministry of
Education, Youth, and Sports with
sub-Decree no. 58 ANK-PK dated on
13 June 2002. Its former name was the
Faculty of Management and Law (FML) but
was changed to Build Bright
University on the same date of its
recognition for the sake of higher
education and vocational training
services to residents of the province
and its nearby populace in Udar Mean
Chey, Preah Vihear, and
Kampong Thom. As it is the second
largest of the nine campuses of Build
Bright University (BBU), the
biggest university amongst others in the
province, the campus offers various
skills through six faculties:
Faculties of Business Management,
Tourism and Hospitality, Education and
Languages, Information of Technology,
Law and Engineering on the spacious
compound of approximately 10, 000 m2
with four well equipped buildings
arranged into convenient rooms for
administration, study, theater room,
laboratory, and library. |

Geographical Location
|
At the distance of 314 kilometers on the
Northwest of Phnom Penh stands Siem
Reap, the province which is
bordered to Udar Mean Chey on the North,
Preah Vihear on the Northeast, Kampong
Thum on the Southeast,
Tonle Sap on the South, Battambang on
the Southwest and Banteay Mean Chey on
the Northwest. Siem Reap had been an ancient capital of Angkorian state since the beginning of the 9th century. The state was prosperous with sophisticated irrigation system that made use of the tidal range of Tonle Sap water. As such, Siem Reap symbolizes history and culture of Khmer until today. |

 The focus is the societal development
which means participation of populace
for learning and the
development of knowledge and skills
regardless of gender and ethnic origin. Therefore, Siem Reap was chosen to position a branch in order to help students save money and time, and also provide female students the opportunity for further study. Siem Reap campus provides better educational quality in Vocational Training, Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree, from which several vital skills are offered through the faculties of Business Management, Education & Languages, Information Technology & Engineering, and Law. Apart from the faculties mentioned as Siem Reap is the tourist destination, the university run an intensified program in Tourism with market driven curriculum. This program offers two majors: Tourism Management and Hospitality Management in all levels: Associate, Bachelor, Master, Ph.D. |

Enrollments
|
So far, BBU Siem Reap has been getting
good number of students, It has already
taken five promotion and by
mid January, 2010, the campus would have
gotten 4,187 students.
To sustain this satisfactory enrollment trend, the management takes care of the needs of the students by providing first class facilities, qualified and dedicated lecturers, and supportive and professional managers. |
